What is Canvas

HTML5 Canvas is a very useful drawing and animation element, Canvas uses JavaScript to draw graphics directly on the page. It is a rectangular area defined and controlled by the user, which allows dynamic, scriptable rendering of 2D graphics and bitmap images.

The Canvas element has a number of methods for drawing paths, rectangles, circles, and characters.
